I recently bought a 2001 GMC Sierra 2500 HD. And I was wanting some help on beefing it up a little bit. I have the PPE boost valve And an edge juice with attitude programmer. Not interested in going with an EFI live. I pull a 5000 pound horse trailer with four horses and every Friday and was wanting some mod ideas.
Your weak link is going to be your transmission. If you're looking for some basic upgrades I would recommend a nice exhaust system and a air intake kit.
Are you talking about a CAIor a intake horn

You're going to need EFI to reach that HP level.
About where could I get without it then?
You can get close to that level just going to take more money.
Can you give me some other ideas that I could use? Just looking for some tips to get a little more out of it.
CP3 upgrades such as a Bag o Parts from Industrial.
You will also need an aftermarket fuel system such as a FASS.
As well as an injector upgrade.
